Larry Vanderpol

Larry has been a member of Lynden Nazarene for about 3 years. He’s been married to Candie for 31 wonderful years and is blessed with four amazing children: Mandi Shultz (married to Terry, 5 children, living in Kennewick), Brady (married to Brandy Jo, living in Seattle and serving with the US Coast Guard in Cuba), Cody (attends Seattle Pacific University), and Chelsi (sophomore at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA).

Larry’s passion is to share the gospel and make disciples and he is excited to be working in the Outreach ministry. He also has a heart for men and is active in Men’s Ministry. He has worked with Promise Keepers for over 15 years. He loves being on the Worship Team. Small groups have enriched his life and opened a window to new relationships. Both Larry and Candie are thankful for the opportunity to work with the other members of the Board and get to know the rest of the congregation better to bring God glory!

Larry works with Aflac Insurance, primarily with payroll accounts. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, bicycling, hiking. Larry and Candie both like to do yard work, geocache and spend time with their kids!
